Smart move. Clippers need a change and the coach is always the easy scapegoat. Somehow has to get Kawhi and PG to play to their potential. Money has to be on Tye Lue.
Have to say, while not surprising given the high degree of expectations and hype surrounding this Clipper squad I thought he’d at least test the waters into next season. Lue or even Sam Cassell could step right in and run the same ship a different way. Sounds like he was burned out. I kind of expect him to take a bit of a break but if NY or Philly throws a mountain of money at him that wouldn’t surprise me, either. Don’t see him in Indy, NOLA, Houston or OKC. But you never know, Doc is an odd cat. Maybe he wants to reunite with CP3, lol.
