Despite turning the ball over 5 times, Rondo was the right guy to throw the ball in. He had given AD a nod before the play started to let him know he was going to be looking for him. Lakers run these kinds of plays for all of the different scenarios and Rajon knew the Nggets would be focusing on Bron but the right guy to take that last second shot was AD. Great bounce pass. Bang. Lakers win and go up 2 zip.
Rondo had a great comment in an article I read on ESPN where he said he made eye contact with every player before finding AD.
AD is pretty good, lol!!
