Nuggets Jazz preview

Consensus Pick: Nuggets in 6
Magicman Pick: Game 7 toss up
Joker lost weight. A lot of weight. He looks a little more spry. Hasn’t lost the wiggle though.
A ton of similarities between these two. Big men Cornerstones, budding tweener guards trying to take their games to another level. Both coaches are disciplined, hard-nosed and are serious about the chip on their shoulder.
Too close to really be confident about a pick in this one. I remembered a Sonics Jazz series that was tooth and nail each possession. Went to a game 7, last possession for the Sonics, Shawn Kemp hit his two FTs. Karl Malone missed both of his.
History has a way of repeating itself.
Jazz have a deep bench. Clarkson, Bojan, the incomparable Joe Ingles, make a decent unit good for 35-60+ points per game together. Ingles is the oil, thst greases this engine. Where he goes. The Jazz usually go.
Nuggets boast Jerami Grant (Underrated offseason acquisition), Michael Porter Jr. Plumlee Vonleh Gary Harris Jr.all pose matchup threats.
Game 7 comes down to the last possession.
Clippers Mavs Preview

Consensus pick: Clippers in 5.
Magicman pick: Clippers in 6.
A tale of two superb superstars versus a gifted, prodigy, a basketball player who exploits angles and makes the correct pass. A Bird Magic clone. With Larry’s dead eye cold blooded style.
He’s up against here. It will be difficult for Dallas to stop a Trezz Lou Will pick and roll carousel against KP, Boban, Kleber, it won’t sustain that level of success.
I do think Luka is definitely capable of locking in and winning a game. He’s a budding Superstar, not quite there yet. If he were to take the Clippers to a Game 7, it would cement him as a Top 5 player in the game, regardless of the outcome.
That being said, there’s just a disparity of talent and matchup advantages for Doc to employ against Carlisle.
I think Carlisle’s coaching and/or shooting can win at least a game as well.
Clippers likely win first 2. If a split occurs, that’s where the rub comes, as they say. Because Luke can go off and be as busy as popcorn on a hot skillet. That would be conflicting for the NBA.
The NHL has already seen two Cup contenders eliminated from the bubble. Penguins and Oilers ran into teams that were prepared to win. Both contenders lost game one and it made it a different series altogether.
it could happen. Likely? Not in the slightest. Possible? Sure. Improbable is the best I can do here.
Clippers in 6.
Lakers Opened as 5 point favorites over Blazers in Game 1!
Lakers open as just 5-point favorites vs. 8th seed Portland in Game 1.

Imagine If Vogel Has An Epiphany & Plays AD At 5, Lebron At 4 And Kuz At 3
Imagine if Vogel had an epiphany where he realized that if he plays AD at 5, Lebron at 4 with Kuz at 3 for 36-38 min a game, all opponents are screwed and have absolutely no answer on either end of the court for this cheat code.
