Why Lakers can’t win a championship with Anthony Davis as a jump shooter
I wrote about Anthony Davis’ position (reluctant center), his shot-selection (decidedly power forward) and the sacrifices it takes to win a championship.

TL;DR: AD needs to chill with the jumpershttps://t.co/AR23XsosGV
Davis, maybe the most dangerous finisher in basketball, has lived on the perimeter to a startling degree this season. Sharing the floor with another big man only exacerbates the problem by giving him a license to take ill-advised mid-range jumpers early in the shot-clock. What else is he supposed to do when the paint is clogged?

Vogel said he is constantly thinking about lineup changes both within games and in general, and that it’s “appropriate when needed” to switch things up for any team in any series.

Problem is KCP is 21%, Green 25%, AD 24% and Javale just clogs the paint
LeBron is at 35% from three in the bubble… the problem is that KCP is at 21%, Green is at 25%, AD is at 24% and Javale just clogs the paint.
You can’t win if LeBron is your best shooter from three. https://t.co/HqEAWYx9W6
