‘LAKERS FILM JUNKIES’ VIDEO (Jul-21) Lakers’ Needs for 2020 Draft (1 of 3)
We’re thrilled and excited to announce the addition of renowned NBA analyst, scout, trainer, and videographer extraordinaire Rafael Barlowe as Video Editor for Lakerholics. We’ve partnered with Rafael to create a series of Lakers Film Junkies series for Lakers fans across the world.
Since Rafael’s NBA Draft Junkies is one of the leading sources for up-to-date video analyses of NBA draft prospects, we asked him to start his new Lakers Film Junkies series with a look at the Lakers’ current roster needs and which prospects might be available for them near the end of the first round.
This is the first of two videos Rafael has put together on potential Lakers’ targets in the upcoming draft. It’s also an exciting preview of what to expect from the Lakers Film Junkies series. Rafael has a unique experience as an NBA scout and trainer but it’s his technical expertise and polished presentation skills that enable him to deliver such great video content.
Sit back and enjoy Rafael’s debut episode of Lakers Film Junkies. Best of all, there’s more to come as the Lakers head into the 2020 NBA Playoffs.
Rob Pelinka should get votes for NBA Executive of the Year
I can’t make up my mind between Pat Riley, Jerry West, Rob Pelinka, and Sean Marks for Executive of the Year. I can make a case for all of them!

NBA G League players have formed union with assistance from NBPA
Aloha, Michael,
I agree 100% that it has to be Dwight. As I said in the article I just posted, a front court of Howard, Davis, and James will dominate the Heat and force them to change their starting lineup and rotations. I worry a little that Vogel will try and redeem JaVale by starting him but only a fool would do that. AD should continue to be our small ball center but only when the Heat rest Bam and play Olynyk, whom AD will destroy. Lakers in five with a good shot at a sweep.
