Lakers lack of backup center Leads to another tough loss
Getting a center isn’t about “moving AD back to the 4”
It’s bout balancing him at the 4/5
It’s about having a legit big that can play when he’s on the bench
It’s about allowing to run him at the 4 when we need active help defenders.
Walker. Kessler.

Bench Bench Bench
Aloha, It always sucks when you lose a game that we could have won. We didn’t match their energy to start the game. But we actually ahead when our reserves began to trickle in. Max did a pretty good job on Green. Green had 5 points when Shake came in for Max. Green scored 13 more in the last 4 minutes. When you look at all of our starters had positive plus minus. Poor LeBron had a minus 13 because he spent the most time of the reserves. A little comparison: Hayes -7 in 6 minutes Milton -16 in 5 minutes Reddish -12 in 4 minutes Dalton was only -3 but he didn’t score in 17 minutes. He really needs too score to stay on the floor. Now the Rockers all of there starters had a minus except for Thompson who was a plus1. And their bench? Adams +17 in 17 minutes 8 boards with 6 offensive. Tate +14 in 15 minutes Dalton Holiday +10 in 12 minutes Their bench out scored ours 29 to 16 DFS had 13 of those points. They killed with 28 2nd chance points but a lot of that was their 2nd unit. Now Game would have been much better than Milton and when Vando comes back he will be better than Cam. Still the focus for the front office should be shoring up the 2nd unit. And priority one needs to be a back up center and don’t wait. There just no way that Jackson can contend with physical centers. The Rockets started the 4th on a 10 run. Jackson missed 2 bunnies, gave a a follow up 2 point offensive board by Adams and another offensive board before JJ yanked him. The center doesn’t have to be a starter. Sharpe with Nets and Richard’s with the Hornets. Both weigh between 250 and 260. Both are great rebounders and rim protectors. The front office wants to wait and see what need after seeing what we look like once our injured players return. But none of those are the back up center we need.
