Both Strus and Vincent are unrestricted free agents who only made $1.9M this season. Strus is shooting 33% from deep in playoffs but Vincent 41%. Both shot just 33% from deep in the regular season.
Vincent is the better player and a 26-year old 6′ 5″ point guard. More of a shooter than passer. Lakers have been rumored to be interested in him and could use part of their NT MLE for him if they hardcapped.
Your idea is not as crazy as it sounds, especially if we hard cap ourselves. Just let DLo walk and sign Vincent. Miami has a lot of signed contracts. There’s a price they won’t match. Maybe 3-years for $30M.
Why lose him for nothing. Take DLO in trade and bet on Heat Culture to fix him. He and Strus are a great duo of undrafted guards. Good scouting by the Heat.
Better across the board, loved his game 2 clutchosity.
Looking at their committed money they’re right at what will likely be the draconic tax apron (which won’t affect them until next summer, I believe but still waiting to see the official document which goes into effect July 1 this year).
Victor is picking up that 9+ mil player option and w/o signing either Strus or Vincent they’re at $171,225,510 (which includes Love and Haslem’s deals coming off the books already). Wouldn’t surprise me to see them try and move Lowry and use a couple FRPs to clear his money (San Antonio will have plenty of cap space , for example, and could just give them a massive TPE). Not too sure they can get out of Vic’s deal since he’s so banged up.
They probably want to bring back Love after this, too, but I’d be fine with him as the elderly statesman, backup big, too.
Will Miami ever allow that to happen?

Man, I would love to have either one of them. And like Mongo Slade pointed out, I like players who’s numbers go up in the playoffs.
They have bird rights. He’s not going anywhere unless some offers a ridiculous offer.
Got it!
Heat got a ton of money already committed next year. Let’s see what number could make them uncomfortable.
