A few things.
Creativity and rotation flexibility aren’t Frankie’s strong suits. Whoever wants in had better prove it early on because once he sets his lineups he’s not gonna change em until injuries force him to.
It’s not realistic to think AD can be protected from injuries based on whether he plays the 4 or the 5. Lotta this dude’s injuries aren’t even due to contact. Hell…he missed a buncha time just shooting a fall-away 3 and bumping into the scorer’s table. He’s bound to get hurt no matter where you put him.
Lebron has increased his 3pt attempts each of the past 5 seasons. I think he believes that he’s the elite volume 3pt shooter. It’s also how he gets rest while on the floor. Can’t bang the entire time you’re in there.
I hate to see anybody shoot themselves in the foot like he did. Even if his season had worked out perfectly, he probably wasn’t gonna get a better offer than the Lakers extension..just by looking at what all the other PG free agents just signed for. He can probably make more money overseas at this point. ..?
I was thinking the same thing a couple days ago, that he can find a starting role and at least decent $$$ overseas. Really over-played his hand.
He can prolly get more from a club team in Europe or Asia. He’s a good 👍 player not a star ⭐️ or a Supernova ☄️ and he over played his hand. Old adages exist for a reason…
