I woke up this morning to a dull red sky that later turned into a dull yellow sky that was the strangest thing I have seen in my 75 years on earth. It felt like we were inside of a Blade Runner movie and the aliens were on their way. I thought I’d seen everything that could happen but this is ominous. I’m seriously wondering whether the sun is coming back.

Tom, that’s some wonders from mother nature. Strange but very beautiful indeed. Right now I can only imagine being in your shoes to know exactly how it looks and feel. That’s some very beautiful scenery. It kind of reminds me of the giant cloud of dust that originated in Africa several weeks ago and traveled westward covering the Atlantic Ocean and the east coast of the U.S. They looked eerily similar.
Sure looks like the Martian landscape and atmosphere. Thanks for sharing.
Lot better today, Buba, but still bad to breath. Covid forced me to stop hiking and start riding my LifeCycle. Now the smoke has forced me to do nothing for three days in a row for first time in over a year. Frankly, it’s kind of refreshing and relaxing. LOL.
When we had that gigantic dust cloud hovering here in Atlanta, I pretty much limited all outdoor activities for more than a week. The raging inferno going on in your area is of historic proportions. Stay healthy, Tom, and avoid that dangerous smoke.
