The Lakers are still listing AD as day to day with that thumb injury he received weeks ago. I wonder how much of that is effecting his poor shooting. He’s playing through it and against the Celtics he didn’t take a 3 and only a couple of mid range shots. Hopefully if that is the problem, playing won’t aggravate it more because even restricted to shots around the rim he still can dominate.

There’s a pattern that requires trust and patience from a coaching staff that putting 3-point shooters on the court and running plays for them will eventually lead to opening up lanes for our superstars to attack the rim.
You’ve convinced me that we don’t need volume 3-point shooting from our superstars. We need that from our high percentage shooters like Monk, Melo, and Wayne.
