AD ON JOKIC! DWIGHT PROTECTS RIM!
AD should defend Jokic to prevent him from getting the ball or forcing a switch to a guards He has quickness to fight through screens and length to contest threes if he goes under. Dwight should start and play as rim protector to avoid fouls. pic.twitter.com/tfcxPCbRxF

To start with, AD guards Joker all game long, not Dwight. Goal is to keep Nikola from getting ball and, if he does get it, don’t let him force a switch. Make Denver eat up clock trying to get ball to him. If he gets it, then fight through the screen or even go under and use AD’s length to challenge.
McGee sits and Dwight starts but mainly as a rim protector. That will limit his foul trouble. He’s nimble enough to guard Millsap on the perimeter and LeBron can help out protecting the rim if Denver pulls both Anthony and Dwight out of the paint. Stop Joker and you stop Denver. Let the others try to beat you.
Otherwise, take care of the ball, finish the breaks, don’t foul, spread the floor on offense, and make your threes when they pack the paint. Keep the pedal to the metal and the Nuggets’ throats.
