Last season, we started 2-10 in the first 12 games, if my memory serves me. So 8-4 is like night and day. Did someone say we have the 10th toughest schedule so far this season? That tells me the coaching staff is doing something right.

I’ve often wondered why the Lakers never seemed to have any interest in bringing back Brandon Ingram. He has great size and athleticism and his stats show he plays a complete game but he never seems to be a force defensively, which is what the Lakers need. Only makes $36M per year which means he’s tradable.

I remember watching this and noting what a smart move it would be. Why let the opposing team come down and take a three to reduce game to 1 possession. Fouling guarantees lead will stay at 2 possessions. Great to see JJ make the right call like he and Bron had discussed. Smart basketball is winning basketball.

Those back-to-back sweet threes by AD in the fourth were a reminder of his championship play in the bubble. LeBron, AD, and Knecht were superb in the fourth. What a great win.

I never had any question that Edey was going to be impact player. Lakers desperately need to trade for Kessler or Williams. Lakers path to championship is pairing AD with second starting big.
