The question is has he been barred from just games or from practicing with the team as well. If he has been practicing with the team then sure. But if he hasn’t I don’t know if 8 days is enough time to ramp up.

Even if cleared I’m not expecting much out of a guy on a two-way deal. It’s too much to expect for a guy who hasn’t played in over a year to transform a team. Great project player.
