While the inventory is thinning out, there are still several guys that can be had for the mini middle level that could help the team. I have no clue what Rob is doing but he should at least be looking to free up a roster spot or two.

Assuming LeBron’s offer to take a pay cut was real, I hope him signing that new contract marks the end of the foolish Derozen pursuit. Just read that the Heat may get him. Come on Miami!!!!

I am not sure how the Lakers planned to replace Dlo if traded, considering that at the moment there doesn’t appear to be any available point guards. Unlikely as it is, but let’s say they have a plan. The Nets have said they are willing to take back DLO. I would explore Cam Johnson. That would give us a versatile group of forwards. Cam can play 2 through 4, although he has problems with defending big power forwards. Rui can play 3 through small ball 5. Vando can defend every position. Wood can play 4 or 5 and of course LeBron.

It would likely cost at least one of our first round picks and some seconds. And of course all the contracts we would send are expiring deals which would help the Nets and us. This is probably not enough but I know they have talked. Considering they just received a boat load of 1st rounders, our firsts may have more value to them than most rebuilding teams.
