LAKERS-JAZZ TRADE:
Here's a Lakers swap for two perfect backup defensive upgrades at the two most important defensive positions on team: backup POA point guard in Kris Dunn and backup rim protecting center in Walter Kessler. Cost w/b removing 1-4 protection from our 2027 FRP. pic.twitter.com/snKSL0QffP

Getting Kessler and Dunn for removing the protections from the 2027 FRP we owe the Jazz should be a no-brainer for Rob.

You really think that’s enough for Trader Danny? I don’t.
LakerTom says
Then throw him a swap if needed. He’d love that pick unprotected.
Buba says
Man, I can’t believe Danny has become such an accomplished trade merchant.
Michael H says
I like Kessler but I think that’s is not enough for him. As for Dunn, Vincent is every bit as good defensively as Dunn. It’s like you forgot why we signed the guy. He only played 11 games. Defensively he was solid in the playoffs. Unfortunately he has been out so long he couldn’t find his rhythm offensively. It was like training camp for him.
LakerTom says
We’ll have to A2D. I think Dunn is a better defender and much cheaper. We need Gabe’s salary in trades too. Time to cut bait imo
Michael H says
There is a reason. He’s cheap Tom. Besides he is a free agent. If you like him so much, why not get him as a minimum contract. Nobody is going to hard cap themselves for a Dunn trade.
