Basketball Gods Seem To Be Helping Lakers Land JJ Redick

Hiring JJ Redick as new head coach will be as big an event in the future history of the Lakers as were days when we hired Pat Riley and Phil Jackson. Biggest Lakers story and move this offseason.
HI Tom. I agree with you 100% on the basketball Gods analogy. You can almost see the whole thing playing out in slow motion in favor of JJ.
As for Hurley, he should be grateful that the Lakers had doubled his value just by being in the picture. He doesn’t need to run an ad in the Washington Post or the New York Times. His value has jumped to the 10th degree. Good for him.
