From what I’ve gathered from interviews from people plugged in like Woj, etc., the Lakers in the beginning of their process initially asked Dan Hurley if he was interested, he said no, but they still kept tabs. Dan had a change of heart later on and so here we are.

This is the obvious explanation for the comments about the Lakers initially targeting Hurley but when declined switched their focus to Redick. I’m just happy we have two great candidates. Looks to me like we will have a new coach by Sunday night and one who will join the 3-point revolution.

Bad enough that “experts” like Woj & Sham keep getting shit wrong but now we gotta listen to all these no-name cats crawling outta the woodwork trying to make a name for themselves with their own dubious “inside information”. We only have ourselves to blame cuz we keep shining light on them & falling for the okie-doke. We get what we deserve. Wake me up when somebody signs on the line which is dotted. Otherwise, it’s all just hot air…nobody who ain’t in the room knows what’s actually going on. Like the old saying goes….Those who know don’t tell and those who tell don’t know.

Booya on Buha!!! Remember for all the so called experts that are credited for reporting on stories….going back to sad dog face Woj, Windhorst, Shams, etc….we gotta hear about what BUHA makes up each day….we need to keep track of misses as much as hits on their news breaks!!!!!!

Not sure which would be worse for vets: Listening to college guy who’s never played or coached in the league or a smart former player/media know-it-all guy who has zero coaching experience?
Both would have some adjustments to make to be successful as NBA head coaches. JJ knowing the league might find it easier than Danny not knowing the league and bias against guys who didn’t play in the league.

They’ll both fail to live up to expectations because their roster will suck. A prime Lebron made Mike Brown look like a genius. This version, not so much.
