Everyone was skeptical about the IST when it was proposed
but Lebron placed a whole lotta importance on that thing from the get-go and the rest of the players around the association followed him. The League needed this to work and it’s probably not as successful without Lebron’s full buy in.
Don’t forget about LBJ’s huge interest in eventually owning a franchise…hell, Silver even mentioned it during the cup ceremony. One hand washes the other…we ain’t just talking about $500k and a cup. There’s multiple levels to these things. Also probably why we hung that bullshit banner.. alongside that other one from 2020…lol.

LOL. That’s showing you how much I revel Kobe (5 Rings) and LBJ brought Lakers one 10 freaking years later. Kobe would have been proud for LeBron to try to carry on Kobe’s LEGACY. Ain’t tarnishing Kobe at all!! So moving from magic to Kobe would be tarnishing Magic, lol! : )
