Aloha
It is just 3 days until the trade deadline but all that is out there is articles on the Kyrie trade. No reports on actual talks. Either teams are holding their cards tightly or not much is happening. I guess there could be an explosion of activity late but so far it’s seems pretty quiet for this close to the deadline.

Personally not surprised. There hasn’t been much substantial info from anyone, just lots of guesses, fantasies and opinions. The log jam in both conferences, the way the CBA makes paying superstars and building a team an extremely difficult task.
Than there’s the the way they choose the lottery, the fact that a handful of teams that want to deal don’t have the requisite picks to make moves (especially since the basic price to do business is now a FRP of some kind or another) and the real issue being the fact that there’s just not a lot of separation in either Conference. Everyone feels like they have a shot as-is and if the phone call starts with a FRP why not wait until free agency this summer?
