Lakers receive:
– Rui Hachimura
Wizards receive:
– Kendrick Nunn
– 3 second round picks.
This is a good trade. Rui is a young combo forward with size. He can score and rebound. Defensively he is a work in progress but we have a great development staff. I like him much better than Cam because he actually plays.
This is the kind of trade that makes sense. He is already good enough to contribute to this years team and he has a lot of upside. He has size and shoots the 3. Best of all we will have bird rights. He cap hold will only be 8 mil so we can fill out the roster and go over the cap.
Two of the three 2nd rounders are distant one. We still will have our own 2nd this year.

We got a wing with size that could shoot both the 3 and midrange shots in Hachimura. Now we have to go get a rebounder and check both boxes. I applaud you for having that vision. This is a great move by Rob. Let’s see what else he got up his sleeve.
Actually Bubba, he is a decent. He has averaged 5 a game in 27 minutes for his career. For context, KD averages 6.7 per 36 minutes and PG averages 6 per 33 minutes. So he is right in line for a wing.

Excellent move for Rob to pop his cherry. Rui is young, big, and can shoot.
This makes sense from multiple angles. Did not give up a FRP, did add size and shooting, shipped out a little-used player for one that could take minutes away from some of our own guys.
