It appears that the Lakers are trading one DJ for another. They are waiving Deandre and signing DJ Augustin. The dude can play some. He will definitely take some of Westbrooks minutes. Wish a 3 and D wing with size would shake free but those are in high demand. Not expecting any of them being bought out.
That’s some very good news for me personally. I have always wanted DJ Augustin for a long time now, just the same way I wanted Reggie Jackson. Unfortunately, my last memory of DA Jordan as a Laker would be the turnover he committed last night by heaving the ball into the stands ( errant lob pass?). Wish him all the best. Augustin is definitely a valuable addition and a favorite of mine.
