I am still trying to figure out how this game got out of hand. It happened so fast, from the third quarter onwards. But it says a lot about how inferior this team is playing compared to other teams. As it has been the case in most of our losses the energy is never there and the tentativeness becomes more prevalent.
Mike Malone said recently, after his team blew a big lead and lost, that today’s players care more about where they’re going out after the game than the game itself. Gee, ya think it might be the stupid money they’re paid?? BTW, I don’t catch many games now that I cut back my TV package. Looking like money well saved so far 🙂
I don’t blame you for cutting back on your TV package, John. Watching the Lakers nowadays is like getting tortured. It’s just painful and embarrassing.
Last summer they raised it again and I had to do something. It meant losing the spectrum dodgers and Lakers channels, and I thought, we’ll see how it goes. Still get TNT, and if either team is any good, I’ll get the playoffs. It’s refreshing to ditch the DVR too.
