I like Dudley as a mentor to young players but that would be more ideal if he’s moved to the coaching staff. I would like to see his spot given to someone who is going to contribute on the floor. Not only do I want the Lakers to be armed to the teeth going into the season, I also want them to be feared to the point where they could even cause a stampede whichever arena they go to. Let them bulldoze whoever stands in the way. That’s how bad I want them to be. #18 is on the line and the chase starts now.

Overall, Ariza Bazemore and Ellington are good fits on both sides…sure, Bazemore turned down more money, Ellington likely could have signed for the TPMLE at minimum, chose the Lakers…Ariza is a decent wing capable of playing the 4…Dwight is 2 years older but he’s a reliable Triple R big (run, rebound, roll)…Rob’s not done…

On a side note, this salary cap is more bananas 🍌🍌🍌 than Meat 🍖 🥩 and Potatoes 🥔…it’s convoluted, it’s written like Stereo instructions and I shouldn’t have to have a chartered accountant on speed dial to understand it. FFS.

Common sense tells us, given the resources, it shouldn’t be so complicated. Of course the opposite is true:)
