Probably limited to full MLE like the Lakers and other teams over the cap. I think Reggie may get bigger offers than that based on how he played. Shot over 40% on over 7 threes per game.

Early Bird will allow them to pay him 105% of the MLE or around $10M and most of the 8 teams with more cap space than that aren’t really contenders willing to pay an older player like Jackson that much so chances are good he will sign with a contender for the full MLE. I would suspect he would be the Clippers top priority even though he did not play well for them until the playoffs. Be interesting if the Lakers offered him a chance to play with LeBron and AD and win a ring. Might interest him.
Yeah..I was just reading that. Clipps can’t offer him a whole lot even if they wanted to; just 5% over the mle. If other teams are in the same ballpark I’m thinking he stays with the Clipps. But somebody might go up to $15mill then he’s gotta reconsider.
