He’s 6-9 in Game 7s. The above stat only reflects the series lost because of a blown lead…He blew a 3-2 lead against the Bulls in triple OT. They win in 7 eventually. He blew a 3-2 lead against Philly a couple years later won in 7. Was down 3-2 to Hawks in 2008. Won in 7.
He’s either been up 3-2 or tied 3-3, 80% of the time. He’s lost 29 elimination games. Astounding. He’s won 40% of the 80%. You’d think a 50:50 ratio would be decent, it’s not, especially with the weight of the collapses, each one ☝🏻 more blunt than the last.
