I think a lot of these early series are going to go awhile. Home court still isn’t fully home court, no full houses (yet) and (in my opinion) NBA officiating this season has been terrible.
Not that I’m into conspiracy theories but there’s been plenty of news about how TV ratings are down, Knicks are in for the first time in forever and the money issue the league is facing is also no secret. Easier to have the early rounds go long than later.
FWIW I barely have the Nets moving on. I don’t expect them to be in the conference finals and I think they’re going to vastly under-estimate their opponents in every round to their detriment.
Jamie has a great 👍 point about the Nets. While they won, they played the first 20 mins as if Greenies were gonna just lie down.
Bucks defense will dog walk them if they try that.
