The Home Page seems to serve as the longer and most important messages, I kinda would like the Blog landing to be more in real time comments so a running convo can take place. Just a suggestion?

The traffic is pretty evenly split between the Home and Blog pages, Dave, and the intent is like you said, for the original content to be on the Home page and the current events to be on the Blog page.
There’s usually so much news, however, and so many people who only go to one page that I’ve made a decision to pin work by myself, Jamie, and Gerald to the top of the blog page on the day they’re posted. Then they leave. My articles go to the Home page, Gerald’s podcasts to the Podcast page, and soon, Jamie’s 5 things to the new 5 THINGS page.
What I don’t want happening is content that we spend a lot of time and effort creating getting lost like it does on Twitter. I think the way we’ve been doing it works well and don’t have any plans on changing it going forward although the community can comment and we will consider any suggestions. Thanks.
