Silly loss because of shitty focus.
1) Couldn’t make a free throw all night.
2) Came out with a lackadaisical approach to getting AD the ball.
3) AD didn’t demand the ball and was pretty much non-existent down the stretch. Best player my ass.
4) Wasted a great game by the Laker bench especially Wenyan Gabriel who played his ass off.
5) Frittered away another tie-breaker. List when every team we need to pass also lost.
Say good-bye to Malik Beasley and Mo “not sure why people get hyped about long arms” Bamba. Not worth $26+ mil in cap space or the ensuing luxury taxes. They’re just not good enough or impactful enough for that price point.
You can’t turn it on in the second half, which we did a pretty good job of doing, when your season hangs in the balance because you dicked around with the the first 40 games. You can’t sit AD against Houston unless it’s truly for a medical reason. You certainly can’t run an offense that has a habit of going away from your best scorer who happens to score most often in the paint. Frame those ideas and call them what they are: ridiculous. Ridiculously idiotic. This one will hurt whenever the season ends and however far we are from a goal. Because this, my friends, was a very winnable game.

This team needs to decide if they deserve to play in the playoffs or if they’re just collecting paychecks.
