Funny thing is, the 2020 Lakers were clearly the best team all year long.
They started 24-3, then handled the Clippers and Bucks back to back before the stoppage (where they were at a 64-win pace), then ran everyone in the bubble.

To take it a step further, I think the 2020 Lakers would have beaten the 2024 Celtics handily.

I still don’t understand why that team was blown up. I remember whenever they lead you after the third quarter you are toast. They don’t take their foot off the gas in the fourth quarter.
