DeRozan and Dinwiddie average 21/5/5 every game. They consistently create for themselves and others and nope don’t want it…LOL. C’mon man, the G-League Ignite would take a switch to that thing the Lakers called an offense w/no Bron and AD…LOL.
I respectfully disagree, Sean. Can’t add guys like these who are low volume, low percentage 3-point shooters. Not considering we are near bottom of league in 3-point takes, makes, and percentage.
Funny thing, who was supposed to pass Dinwiddie the ball in BKN? Anyone…They had Spence and Joe Harris as tangible offensive players. He shot 34% the year before though…There was no Kyrie, no KD, no Harden and Dinwiddie even had them averaging 111 pts/GM (16th) and he turned them into a Top 10 pace team…
I understand shooting is a disadvantageous skill for both of them, but they do so many other things well offensively and consistently I don’t think we should let either one test the waters if they want to come here. One of those guys instantly makes our offense more balanced.
I don’t care 🤷 either TBH. Myles Turner, DeMar DeRozan, Buddy Hield, Davis Bertans, Dame, Spencer Dinwiddie, Zach Lavine…I don’t care, just bring someone that provides cushioning offensively. And I don’t care how ya get the ball in the hole. The only thing that matters is that you get the ball 🏀 in the 🕳 hole.
I absolutely agree we need a third reliable scorer but he also has to be able to stretch defenses with volume 3-point shooting (Lowry, Hield, Walker, McCollum, Ball, Rozier, Beasley) as well as give us 20 ppg.
You see, Sean. That’s exactly what I am looking for. We need a third reliable scorer and I definitely don’t care if people keep attaching defense as a prerequisite. Yes, defense wins championships but you can’t win if you can’t score the basket either.
I agree, Morris has that in him but seemed to take a step back when he couldn’t hit from outside for like 2 months or however long that 0-fer from three streak went for.

Nope DeRozan can’t shoot.
Magicman says
He can fill up the bucket. Gets his own shot and had 6.9 assists per game..
Magicman says
Kuzma averaged 1.9 APG…please don’t talk in circles about shooting…Don’t wanna hear it about this G League offense you want to bring back Tom…

Dinwiddie is career 31.8% on 2.3 threes per game.
DeRozan is career 28.1% on 1.3 threes per game.

Saying no to one 20 pt scorer would be a bad look. Balking at 2 after this season, is unconscionable…

Dinwiddie isn’t just a scorer and facilitator, he changes the pace of games. Dennis could have taken more control in pace…he did not…
Magicman says
Dinwiddie can and will change pace.

Yup, I am nodding my head in agreement, Sean.

Need a P.J. Tucker-esque style guy.
